February 15 is the launch of the brand-new Arts & Culture Series podcast from the Foreign Press Association.
Hosted by FPA journalist Emilie Pons, our first guest is producer and filmmaker Melissa Haizlip. Ms. Haizlip joins us in honor of Black History Month and to discuss her celebrated documentary Mr. SOUL! Melissa Haizlip is an American film producer, director, and writer. Her 2018 documentary Mr. SOUL! celebrates African American contributions to American culture. Emilie Pons is a digital reporter and an audio producer. Her work has been featured on The World (PRI), CBC News, Radio DW, in JazzTimes and TRT World. The FPA Arts and Culture Podcast will be available on the 3rd Tuesday of each month and is available on YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify - just search for 'Foreign Press Association'.
