The Foreign Press Foundation
Since its establishment in 1993, the Foreign Press Foundation has been a major source of support for young, burgeoning foreign journalists. The FPF serves as the philanthropic arm of the Foreign Press Association and has been the conduit for global and national corporations to support the education and development of professional journalists for the realities of today’s media industry. Over the past 29 years, we have awarded 88 scholarships to foreign graduate students committed to pursuing their master’s level studies in the United States. By providing scholarships to these international journalists, the Foundation positions education as the cornerstone of professional journalism, and takes action to develop a new generation of international professional journalists who make a significant difference in the rapidly changing world of journalism and communications.
